The society of St. Vincent de Paul is active in our community. The St. John the Baptist conference of Killeagh and Inch is run by local volunteers. Funding is obtained from, church gate collections taken up on the last weekend of each month at all masses in Killeagh and Inch, other fund raising events and donations. All funds collected locally are distributed locally.

The Samaritans are always just a phone call away. If you are in trouble and need someone to talk to, please give them a call. Their number is 1850 60 90 90.
They are there for you, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Aware supports people who are dealing with depression or other mental health issues. You can call them on 1890 303 302.
Console supports those who are having suicidal thoughts, and those who have been bereaved by suicide. Their helpline is 1800 201 890.
Grow.ie is part of an international movement promoting mental health. You can call them on 1890 474 474. They also have a Facebook Page.
Al-Anon & Alateen support children & families of alcoholics. Their number in Cork is 021 4311899, and the phone is manned from 10.30 to 2.30 from Monday to Friday.
Barnardos works with vulnerable children and their families, and they campaign for the rights of all children. You can call them on 1850 222 300.
Childline gives children a listening ear. Call them at 1800 66 66 66, or text ‘Talk’ to 50101
