The Community Council is elected by the people of Killeagh Parish for a period of three years. Their role is to facilitate development within the parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This development can take many forms. For example, in the past number of years the Community Council has set up a defibrillator group; developed the playground for Killeagh in Glenbower Wood; Published a book about the History of Killeagh Parish; We have a community care group who have been responsible for installing alarms for the elderly, and we have helped each year in the National Spring Clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
