We had a fantastic second year in Killeagh Scouts with the Beavers received a Gold Award and Cubs received a Silver Award under the national accreditation scheme, so well done to all the leaders for their fantastic work this year.We also have fantastic support from the Parents of the Children attending scouts ably Co-ordinated by Sharon Roche and her committee who organised a very successful Coffee morning in Killeagh Hall and Church gate collection in the last few weeks.
In the last 12 months we have expanded the group to a second night for the Beavers and have another eight leaders currently being trained more potential leaders filtering through applications as we speak. We now have 20 Leaders and 83 Children between Beavers and Cubs and are hoping to have two beaver groups two cub groups and one scout group next September.We have also gone online this year and have a Facebook page, Click Here for it!
